Amritsar. I have been dedicated to the field of education of more than 17 years. My administrative experience during past few years, my interactions with parents, teachers and students made me to realise that education is a joint venture between school and home.
The foundation of a successful school is co-operation between the students, staff, parents and community. Along with teachers we shall focus on character education initiatives, common core skills, use of data to inform instruction strategies to increase student’s achievements and providing exciting challenging enrichment opportunities for all students. Parent’s contribution too is invaluable. Our approach involves working with parents to meet the individual needs of every student and supporting them to fulfill their academic and co-curriculum goals and dreams. I believe that we as educators are models of integrity. Children have never been very good at listening to their elders but they have never failed to imitate them.
Dear parents, it will be my actions that will communicate my commitment to you, to the students of APS and to this community. Still I shared some of my beliefs about education through this message, from you may deduce the expectations that I hold as principal.
As your principal, it is important to me that everyone who stops through our doors – teachers, students, parents – are excited to be here! This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun and nurturing environment.
